Special Event - Eastern Ontario Showcase
Don’t wait for economic recovery….CREATE IT!
Today, the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce and Team Cornwall are urging business to take action and join in a unique economic development initiative.
Chamber President, Scott Armstrong says, “On September 24, 2009 there is a tremendous opportunity for all of us to have a direct and immediate, influence on economic recovery in our community”.
Team Cornwall Chair Gilles Latour says,” The first ever Eastern Ontario Economic Showcase will connect business owners, investors, funding agencies and others in a one-a-kind networking forum that has the potential to create important momentum here.”
The Showcase is being held September 24th in Ottawa. This event will feature presentations from some of the most acclaimed entrepreneurs in the world, including: Don Drummond, chief economist with TD Bank, Terry Matthews, Chair of technology giant MITEL, Brett Wilson from CBC’s Dragon’s Den, and the colorful entrepreneur, Donald Trump.
Armstrong adds, “In addition to the incredible speakers, there will be people there ready to do business and Cornwall needs to be front and centre.”
Latour says, “We hope businesses will join us in attending. We’ve secured a special VIP ticket price of $120, but there is a limited quantity available.”
