Cornwall Border Crossing Re-Opens
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has temporarily relocated the Port of Entry to the base of the North span of the Seaway International Bridge, effectively allowing movement of people to and from Canada and USA via Cornwall.
In order to accommodate the CBSA operations, northbound traffic along Brookdale Avenue is being detoured on Cumberland Street. Local traffic can still access residential and commercial properties affected by the closure of Brookdale Avenue.
Cornwall Transit’s Riverdale Route will also be detoured north on Hoople Avenue to Seventh Street where it will reconnect with Brookdale Avenue.
