John Earle and Frank Burelle of Fishrizzo Productions are set to release their 3rd film entitled "86400 The Movie".

The film takes three cameramen (including graphic Artist Ron Piquette) and four cameras through the city of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, filming for 24 continuous hours (or 86400 seconds).

"The goal of the film was to get the message out about what kind of a place Cornwall is" explains Burelle, who places a strong emphasis on the city being the people who live there and not the buildings or landscape that make it great.

The two filmmakers from Cornwall set out to find the pulse of a city that has withstood economic hardships, public inquisitions, and slurry of negative connotations since the 1960s.

"The film is the journey of three men filming non-stop for a day - no script, no retakes - just straight ahead guerilla film making," adds Earle, who describes the movie as "a fun film about a fun place to grow up and raise a family".

On October 3rd and 4th 2008, over a period of 24 hours, the crew traveled from location to location, interviewing 31 people from varied backgrounds, including teachers, an artist, a politician, a fire fighter, children, police and many more. The interviewees were questioned on all aspects of life in Cornwall; the past, present and future, while not ignoring the ups and downs that the city has endured over the past century.

The resulting moments captured on film are captivating - and often surprising.

"What is interesting is that common threads and ideas emerged in our interviews as filming progressed", says John Earle. "Our efforts captured on film some truths that are at the heart of what Cornwall truly is".

The film will debut at Galaxy Cinemas in Cornwall with only two showings. A limited number of tickets for each night are available. The Wednesday night premiere is already 1/3 pre-sold and the remaining 200 tickets are not expected to last long.

Tickets are available at Seaway Valley Tourism on Water Street, and at Scotia Bank on Brookdale Ave, or on-line at www.86400themovie.com
