Seaway News Wins an Award

Rick Shaver was on hand to pick up the award on behalf of Seaway News.
|
Cornwall's own Seaway News won an award at the Ontario Community Newspaper Association's Better Newspaper Competition held in Niagara Falls recently.
In the category of Community Service, Seaway News placed second with their "Our Hospital, Our Future" submission.
The entry highlighted all the ads, advertorials, press releases, feature stories and photo presentations made during the year-long campaign.
Seaway News' commitment did not go unnoticed by the judges who stated "this entry is a great example of what community service is all about - giving. From the donation of ad space to support the "Our Hospital, Our Future" campaign, to the design of the ads (simply fantastic) to the involvement of the staff."
Seaway News did all the right things.
